CLEANING UP BATMAN #181 ! WHAM !
Here's a good example of what a nice kneaded eraser and a gentle touch can do for a book that is just caked with dirt and grime.
Especially the back cover ! It was filthy people ... the key is to go easy and work your eraser to the edge not along it. It's very easy to tear a book by the edges and spine if your are not careful.
Now this issue has yet to be pressed so you'll see some imperfections remain and it could use a nice even flattening. But as far as cleaning it up maybe a .5 jump in grade alone for just that lil bit of work. Not bad for a $2 Eraser huh ... give it a try on your lower end books first, and as always if you have any questions go ahead and ask !
